Friday, March 10th

Hi!
It appeared that my blog was clogged and I was unable to post before now...

Thanks to the folks who are starting to check in and read and some even respond. It's great to know that we are building a web of interconnectivity.

And with Rev.Michael on his way in his motorhome to drive to Vancouver, I have a way to keep him updated; and he can also send us posts and maybe even photos! Safe journey to you and Gaia.

Frankly, this has been an intense week with a bunch of miscellaneous stuff snapping at my heels the way Sammy snaps when he is trying to herd animals... or even people.
(Do we have a full moon? Is Mercury about to go retrograde? I can feel something afoot.

We are still looking at various sites for our church home. However, one of the monkey wrenches tossed into the mix this week is that the La Mesa church poised to take over our space has run into their own log-jam and their escrow did not close this week as planned. Soooooo for right now, we do not have to move in the next three weeks. They have 10 more days by which their deal could close and settle. When and if that happens, we are packing faster.

Our plan for this month is to do what is before us to do. That means we start with an assessment and inventory of what we have currently. Then we can consciously make choices about what to pack, what to release and what we might need. Stay tuned for details about the work calls to have people come and help out. Starting on 3/26 after service, we will have an Inventory day.

I smile as I note the title of today's post--the date itself. For me, I still acknowledge this as a special day because in 1974 (GULP!) it was the day I began my film career on the MGM soundstage with Walter Matthau for the film, "The Sunshine Boys".
Ah.

Well i am dashing home before the rain starts. Tonight, a bunch of us are going to see "Dr. Doolittle" a new musical wiht Tommy Tune! SHow-tunes -R-us!

See ya Sunday!

Love
