Governor Palin was credible and very effective.
Ok, folks, ya know, I don't want to dwell on the past either. But ya gotta be sure to not repeat the mistakes of the past. Funnily, enough, I think Mrs. Palin only has the future on her mind. And if she keeps doing her homework, she is gunning for 2012. Palin knows how to work the camera and her Main Street audience.
So it seems that this crud or croup that I have been dealing with just might be allergies. Randomly, a few folks of late have offered comments that many people who first move to Chico have a challenge with the agricultural climate that causes respiratory ailments and such acclimating to the "Chico dust" or the "ammons crop." Someone else mentioned mold or fungus and that immediately pulled the rug out from under me. Literally. Because I had an "aha" that the rug I bought for my office might be a culprit contributing to my ailment. Although Don shampooed the rug when we got it home from the Salvation Army (such a deal!) it continued to have an odor that even my frequent dousing of baking soda could not correct. I kept thinking it was because my office does not have access to fresh air but today as I bent over to retreive a file, the dank smell hit me hard enough to pay attention. The rug has now been removed till I get beyond this health nuisance and can see about getting the rug steam cleaned or replaced.
By the way, welcome to October.

Nothing to do with your title, but I saw our neighborhood cat guard - Mr. Lebowski again. I drove past his house yesterday and he was sitting on the seat of an ATV, facing forward like he was driving it. I laughed out loud! He is so funny.
