... which has little meaning in relation to today being Easter. It's just that I had the 70's cable music station on today and Gloria Gaynor, Donna Summer--where are you???? I enjoyed the music, the dancing and some of the innocence of the early 70's.
On this earlier than usual Easter, Don and I went to find meaning. We had gorgeous weather here in Southern California (the hills are so green from all the rain) perfect for driving up to Orange County where Don and I went to service at The Meaning Place.
The Meaning Place is a relatively new spiritual community that was founded by Rev. Joshua Reeves. Rev. Joshua was the youngest person to graduate Practitioner training within our movement; and probably, matched that record when he graduated Holmes Institute. He is clear, bright, well-read and very contemporary in his approach and appeal. It felt good to be of support and in service to a community and back in the saddle so-to-speak, even if it was riding side saddle. I am open to finding an atypical spiritual community and this was a great starting place that had meaning for me, too.
This has been one powerhouse of a week that began with Palm Sunday. That led into St. Patrick's Day. With a ginormous full moon that greeted Good Friday in preparation for the Easter celebration. Whew. If everyone was doing their own 'inner work' then we are all ready for an amazing spring season of growth, change, abundance and . . .
stayin' alive!

Oh how I miss these silly little puns but of course you married the king of puns so you are a couple made in heaven.
So the other day I had on some 70's music (I don't like to call it Disco because there are so many bad clothing and looks from that era) and was listening to it with my son. I was singing many if not all of them by memory and you are correct that it seemed much simpler those days. Not sure if it was simpler becaue we were naive or if it truly was more simple.
Music is such a wonderful gift from God because it can change a mode in a minute, bring back memories and enhance so many different areas for us. "Imagine" just how it would be without music. I do not want to think of that but it puts a perspective on how much it means.
Just a thought for the day. Cary on my wayward son!!!!!
