Thanks for all the feedback and posts about the blog. From the people who have responded, it is quite favorable to keep it as is. A few folk, would be happy with a weekly newsletter as well. I shall continue to post responses and take this all under consideration as I am looking to expand the blog and my web domain presence.
I know I am a bit behind some current events but I need to make note of the fact that I am not amused that a bunch of astronomers have revoked Pluto from planetary existence just because it is smaller than the other planets. What kind of bias is that? It's already a part of our language, a beloved Disney character, part of our horoscopes Harumph!
Perhaps those astronomers could be the first people to take the new drug that combats stupidity. This new drug was invented by the scientists at the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics.Or the people at AOL last summer, who made public the history of cyber searches that their members visited. Of course, I imagine we could all create a list of people we would like to offer up to the Planck Institute...
Detroit Tigers are blowing it; Jerry Springer is off from "Dancing with the Stars" but not before he actually touched my heart. And late breaking news... Bruce Bochy is going to San Francisco to manage the GIANTS!!! Oh, say it isn't so...
Speaking of shopping, today I took myself to Fashion Valley. I had my Apple ProCare training and then I decided I would take myself to Nordstrom. Now what would a currently out-of-work person be doing at a store like Nordstrom??? Enjoying the view; and setting a vibrational alliance with all that beauty and prosperity. Not to mention, I am wanting to change my wardrobe and image. So I was getting a preview of what styles are actually current these days and what it is that I wish to express. I was drawn to a beautiful chiffon ruffled blouse by a designer I never heard of, Trina Truk. Oh, that is what I want--style and femininity. I waltzed over to it-- and I look it over and I see part of the price tag inside and it shows 34 and I think--oh wow-I can't resist this. A wonderful start and for $34... ooops. The price tag slips out and the blouse is $348. ohhhhhhhh, well, I guess that might be just a little out of range right now. It made me laugh. And I went about my 'window shopping' from the inside.
Of course, the exciting news is there is a new Hybrid Mini-Cooper. That goes on my list. I want to go and test drive it to see if I love it as much I expect I will. I had been holding out for my Beetle but if Mini-Cooper goes green, it wins. Tomorrow, a new Apple Store opens at Otay Ranch and probably a new Starbucks as well, so life is good.
And I have an idea for creating a prosperous church--there is an Evangelical church in Georgia that has installed a "GIving Kiosk" on a sleek, black pedestal with a swipe-card reader allowing congregants to contribute by credit card. Pastor Marty Baker expects that his "ATM for Jesus" will bring in $200-240k this year. Makes ya think...
Well, this morning I woke up from a dream where Uncle Mike gave me a $60,000 tithe check to seed a new church.
Maybe I will use it to buy a kiosk...

The kiosk would also bring in the curious and give you a chance to have a larger congregation from the start.
