Today, was a reminder of the little things that can make a difference in how things are felt and experienced. It doesn't always take fanfare and fireworks.
This week was a tough one emotionally. This morning, no exception.
Then . . . . there was a phone call from a dear friend.
...Cleaning & scrubbing the bathroom.
..Getting mail to MR. Rev. Duchess Dale
...Going to the grocery store and I was walking to the checkout line, a whole new checkout opened and I was there first!
...Finding a shady parking space.
...Stopping by the church AFTER the drama across the street at Union Tribune building. ( I liked this symbolically in that I didn't need and averted unexpected drama).
...A great one-on-one at Apple computer to learn new features and tricks.
..Coming home to the new September issue of the Adams Avenue Herald and seeing my column in print and liking what I wrote.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhh.....
Wait a minim.....
Tonight, we rented the new film, "The Fabelmans" and loved it. Incredible performances, screenwriting and story-telling. I espec...
